Khadzhybeiskyi covers the residential areas north-west of the centre: Slobidka, part of Moldavanka, and former industrial edges that are slowly turning into housing. It is one of the most affordable districts in the city and the natural choice when budget is the deciding factor.
Most of the stock here is Soviet-era panel and brick housing. New developments exist but are fewer than in the south of the city, and a square metre costs noticeably less than a comparable one in Prymorskyi or Kyivskyi.
