Kyivskyi is the most populous district in Odesa. It covers Tairova, part of Cheriomushky, the developments along Liustdorfska Road, and reaches the sea near the Arkadia line. Soviet-era blocks, early-2000s buildings and recent developments stand side by side, so you can find something at almost any budget without giving up on infrastructure.
This is the district families choose most often. Within a ten-minute walk you will usually find a school, a kindergarten, a clinic, a market and a large supermarket, and the city centre is about twenty minutes away outside rush hour.

Strengths and trade-offs
On the plus side: public transport, shops, medical services and, in the southern part, quick access to the sea. On the minus side: dense development in the micro-districts and heavy traffic at peak times, the morning drive towards the centre takes longer than the map suggests.
If you are buying for a family, check in advance which school and kindergarten serve the address; new developments sometimes have fewer places than residents. Also look at how the courtyard handles parking, which is often tight in buildings from the 2000s.
