Tairova is the largest residential area in Odesa and effectively a town within the city. Most of it was built in the 1990s and 2000s, with generous courtyards, wide avenues and a full set of everyday infrastructure: schools, kindergartens, clinics, a market and shopping centres.
Demand here comes down to value. For the price of a small one-bedroom in the centre you can buy a proper two-bedroom with separate rooms. The sea is close, and the city centre is about twenty minutes away outside rush hour.
Administratively it is part of Kyivskyi District, covering the development along Hlushka Avenue and Liustdorfska Road.
About twenty minutes by car outside rush hour, up to forty at peak times; from thirty minutes by public transport.
Yes, a considerable number. Modern complexes here cost less than comparable ones in Prymorskyi District for similar build quality.
Transport decides which building to choose. Hlushka Avenue and Liustdorfska Road are congested at peak times, and five hundred metres closer to a stop or a junction makes a daily difference. View any flat together with the route you will actually take.
Then look at the building. Panel nine-storey blocks stand next to modern complexes here, and the gap in running costs is significant: lifts, the state of the entrance, an active owners association and a gated courtyard affect both comfort and resale value.
